Morton Bay Paddle

Explore one of the most scenic sections of the Rideau Waterway as we paddle through Morton Bay beneath the dramatic granite cliffs of Rock Dunder. This sheltered route follows part of an ancient Indigenous travel corridor that once connected the Ottawa and St. Lawrence watersheds.

Itinerary

  • 9-9:30am: Check in, weather/safety briefing, basic skills overview

  • 9:30-11:00am: Slow paddle as a group until we approach the entrance to White Fish Lake and returning along the opposite shore

Skill Level: Beginner-friendly with moderate paddling distance

Includes: Paddleboard, paddle, PFD, leash, dry bag, phone case

What to bring: Water bottle, snack, sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, change of clothes.

Note: Must be able to swim. Must wear a PFD and leash. Must sign a waiver. Minimum age is 16. All minors must have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian. Guides are Paddle Canada certified Flatwater 1 Instructors and are CPR/First Aid certified with Canadian Red Cross.
